Our Rapid Weight Mounting System is for those photographers and cinematographers focused on whats under the surface out there. Those that want to dive easier with their camera than they ever have before.
Compatible with our latest housings – the C2080, C2090 and C5100. Rated to 30m/98ft when using small domes and LP flat ports. You can now get your housing either positively, negatively or neutrally buoyant, depending on your preference or use case. Simply add your desired diving weights (not included) to match the size of the port/housing and the weight of the unit inside. You can use standard diving weights, easily found all around the world. Meaning you don’t need to pack them when travelling also. A modular design allowing different size and weight models to be used either singularly or in pairs (simply cable tie two together). Almost any housing configuration can be made to behave the way you want underwater. Which means you conserve energy and can focus on getting the job done!
Made with high strength lightweight composites, the Liquid Eye Rapid Weight Mounting System includes all mounting hardware and is easy to install and remove. Attach it to the mounting points on the base of the housing, where the pistol grip can mount, then you are good to go!
To attach weights all you need to do is insert them to the weight mounting bracket, then tighten up the clamp system by turning the dial clockwise. When you want to remove the weights, undo the clamp system by simply turning the dial anticlockwise and remove the weights. We tested with every possible weight system and put it in every possible scenario to ensure the weights cannot come loose mid dive with the clamp system done up correctly. A rubberised and tapered clamp system removes the chance of accidental release.
This accessory attaches using 4 marine grade stainless steel bolts. These bolts use the same tool as the pistol grip, side grips and other accessories for convenience and packing space.
