Finally a base model housing with some essential controls over your camera! Access your front dial, movie record button and the customisable button.

Our C2090 Essential Water Housing is sold with the standard backplate, camera tray for your camera model and the left side grip. You need to add a port system for your lens if you do not have an existing L-Port system.

The C2090 for Sony A7III, A7RIII, A7 IV, A7S III, A7R V, A1, A9 & FX30/FX3 series kit includes:

  • an extremely durable, impact resistant polyurethane resin water housing and backplate
  • a rugged left side hand grip,
  • a camera tray,
  • an electronic 2 stage front shutter button,
  • our ultra-smooth zoom control*
  • 1 year warranty (see T&C for details)
  • rated to 30m/100ft depth using 12cm dome or LP flat ports

Note the right side handle grip shown on some of the product photos is optional and can be ordered separately.
Our Liquid Eye Model C2090 Essential Water Housing for Sony E-Mount  is also compatible with select other Sony and Canon models. All that is needed to switch from one to another is to switch the camera tray, the back plate, the camera plug (if the two cameras use different plugs) and some small specific controls on the housing shell. 

* Zoom lenses require a gear sleeve to engage the water housings zoom control. These are subject to additional cost.

For example it can be assigned to switch between the EVF and screen. a useful applications for some situations. Other brands base models do not offer this.

The Essential models can use all the same great accessories that the advanced models use. This housing is well capable of taking professional quality photos and video. It’s great way to get into shooting in the water with that great new mirrorless cameras from Sony. If you find later on you want to start having even more control over your creativity, you can easily upgrade to an advanced model, simply change the backplate and off you swim!
